Can I get delivery outside of Île-de-France?
Our pavlovas are too delicate to be shipped. However, we have developed a range of products centered around meringue that can be shipped anywhere in France.
On the product pages, a small box icon indicates shippable products.
I would like to order a Meringaie with fruits and creams that are neither in the store nor on the website this week.
We strive to offer only seasonal fruits. If a fruit is not available on our website configurator or in-store, it means it is currently not available. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a custom recipe for a single pavlova. However, for a larger quantity, please do not hesitate to contact us at 01 44 71 94 16 or at contact@lameringaie.com so that we can assist you in creating your custom recipe.
I would like to order a pavlova with a custom shape.
Piping the meringue allows for the creation of almost any pavlova shape. We can make number cakes, letter cakes, unicorn cakes, or even sizes for 15 or 30 people.
Don't hesitate to ask us.
For this kind of special order, please contact us at least 72 hours in advance.
How should I store the Meringaies?
Meringaies should be kept cool in the refrigerator. You can take them out just before serving.
How long can I keep a Meringaie before eating it?
Meringaies are ultra-fresh products made and assembled daily in our shop. The crispiness of the meringue and the freshness of the fruits are perfect if you consume it on the same day. You can also enjoy it the next day: you will then have the pleasure of a more tender meringue, infused with whipped cream. It’s a matter of taste.
How is a Meringaie different from a Pavlova?
Meringaies are pavlovas. The combination of meringue and whipped cream dates back to the 18th century: Marie-Antoinette loved it! An Australian pastry chef had the idea to add fresh fruits, and the Pavlova was born. On our side, we had the idea to flavor the whipped creams and pair them with a variety of fruits according to the seasons.
Where do your products come from?
Our meringues are piped daily in our central workshop at the back of the shop on Rue Lévis, the creams are also whipped on-site, and the fruits are cut there. Then each shop assembles these pavlovas directly on-site. Our pavlovas are assembled throughout the day to ensure maximum freshness.
Our cakes, babkas, macarons, marshmallows, jams, and spreads are also made in our workshop in the 17th arrondissement.
Our products are therefore completely made in Paris.
Our chocolates, fruit jellies, and candied chestnuts are the only products made by our partners selected for the quality of their products.
Do your products contain gluten?
All our pavlovas, unless otherwise indicated on the product sheet, are gluten-free.
Our babkas, which are brioches, contain gluten.
Are our Meringaies suitable for pregnant women?
The meringues are baked for more than an hour at 100°C, and the whipped cream in our pavlovas is made with UHT cream, so there is no contraindication to enjoying them during pregnancy!
I want to order a Meringaie without fruit or without cream.
We sell our plain meringues without cream or fruits if you want to make your own pavlova. They are available in-store or on our website in the "pavlovas" category.
However, we do not offer pavlovas without fruit, with only cream, or without cream, with only fruits. Indeed, a pavlova by definition consists of fruits and cream, so removing one of the elements would alter this dessert.
How do I transport my Meringaie?
Our pavlovas are delicate products that cannot be transported just any way. Therefore, it is best to avoid transport by bicycle, scooter, or scooter.
Tasting Tips
Your Meringaie should be kept cool until the moment of tasting.
It should be consumed the same day, although it will still be very good the next day, but the cream may start to collapse into the meringue. Therefore, it is not advisable to buy a Meringaie the day before for the next day.
Order pickup on December 24, 25, and 31
